About the Program The Diploma in Maritime Studies is designed for people in the shipping, logistics, freight-forwarding, trading, manufacturing and related industries. Incorporating the best practices of the industry and enhanced by the combination of business subjects the course aims to sharpen skills of the participants and also prepare them for the under-graduate program. The KIBS in-house course aims to provide qualified participants with professional development specialisation areas, to ensure the required standard as well as professional academic and vocational qualifications towards providing quality maritime studies in Asia-Pacific Regions. This course involves classroom lectures, group discussion, and case studies. Participants must successfully complete 8 compulsory core modules to qualify for the award of Diploma in Maritime Studies. Eligibility Criteria Applicants should meet the following minimum entry requirements:
Program Structure For those pursuing full-time the duration of the programme is 6 months and those taking part-time the duration will be 9 months. The curriculum comprises of 8 compulsory units to qualify for the award of Diploma in Maritime Studies.
