Application Procedure – International Student

All applications for admission should be submitted at least four weeks before the commencement date. The Course Registration, Processing fee, SP Application & Admin Fees of
$170 + $300 = S$470.00 is payable for each application form that is submitted.
This fee is non-refundable.

Step 1
: Applicant is to submit the following documents to the Admission Office along with the Course Registration, Processing fees, SP Application & Admin Fees of
$170 + $300 = S$470.00 directly or through authorized recruitment agents:

  • A duly signed Advisory Note (Form 12)
  • A duly completed application form
  • A duly completed student's pass application form
  • Photocopy of passport
  • 4 passport-sized photographs
  • Certified true copies/notarized birth certificate, highest academic certificate and transcripts
  • Financial Statement in the form of bank statement/fixed deposit account/saving account (applicable to students from visa-required countries only)
  • Letter of Employment certifying applicant's occupation and salary (if applicable)
  • Letter of Employment certifying parents' occupation and salary (applicable to students from visa-required countries only)

Step 2:  The Admission Office will send the application package to the Academic Department for evaluation and assessment.

Step 3: The Admission Office will generate the Letter of Offer and Standard PEI-Student Contract for the applicant to sign.

Step 4: To confirm the acceptance of offer, successful applicants sign on the acceptance letter to confirm the place before the stipulated deadline and letter of admission will be issued.

Step 5: The Admission Office will then apply the Student’s Pass to Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) through SOLAR+ system.

Step 6:  Once the Student’s Pass application is approved by ICA, the Admission Office will then issue the invoice and advise the student on the payment mode (either by FPS escrow or FPS insurance) based on the Student Contract signed.  

Step 7: After the student makes the payment of the 1st instalment the Admission Officer will email the ICA In-Principal Letter either to the student directly or through the authorized recruitment agent.

Step 8: Once the student enters Singapore and reports to the School the Admission Office will arrange the medical checkup (if applicable) and collection of Student’s Pass for the student.

Step 9: After the student completes the formalities with ICA and collects the Student’s Pass, the Admission Office will pass the enrolment details and handover the student to the Student Affairs Dept.

Step 10: The Student Affairs Dept will arrange the orientation session and arrange the student to join the class based on the course schedule.

Note:  Kings International Business School and our academic partners reserve the right to withdraw an offer of admission and cancel the enrolment of any person where such an offer was made based on incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the applicant.

 

Application Procedure – Local Student

All applications for admission should be submitted at least four weeks before the commencement date. Course Registration & Processing fees of $50 + $120 = S$170.00 (local student) is payable for each application form that is submitted. This fee is non-refundable.

Step 1:  Applicant is to submit the following documents with the Course Registration and Processing Fee (S$170) to the Sale Department:

  • A duly signed Advisory Note (Form 12)
  • A duly completed application form;
  • Certified true copies of all academic qualifications and relevant transcripts;
  • Photocopy of NRIC/Passport;
  • Resume and Letter of Employment in necessary

Step 2:  The Admission Office will forward the application package to the Course Administration Section for evaluation by the Programme Manager or Academic Department for evaluation and assessment.

Step 3:  The Admission Office will prepare the Letter of Offer and Sales Department will prepare the PEI-Student Contract for applicants to sign.

Step 4:
  To confirm the acceptance of offer successful applicants sign on the acceptance letter to confirm the place before the stipulated deadline and letter of admission will be issued.

Step 5:
  The Admission Office will then inform the Applicants to meet up with them to complete the documentations and advise the Applicants on the payment structure and payment mode (by FPS escrow) based on the Student Contract signed.

Step 6:
  After the student makes the payment of the 1st instalment the Admission Office will pass the enrolment details to the Course Administration Section for students' documents and its filling.

Step 7: 
 Course Administration will follow-up with the course enrolment and take care of the students till completion of the course and beyond.

Instalment Payment Policy

To assist students in paying their course fee, KIBS permits students to pay their course fees by instalments. An administrative charge of S$100.00 will be levied on each late instalment payment of the course fee.
