Policy on Management of External Partners

A Strategic Partnership should enhance the overall reputation of Kings International Business School's and provide competitive benefits outside the partnership / alliance by contributing to the college’s strategic objective.

Kings International Business School's management is committed to screen through all the potential partners that are legally established & recognized by their home country authority as well as to ensure that these partners are meeting the selection criteria and in line with Kings International Business School's business direction before any legal contract was signed. Performance of external partners will be reviewed and evaluated by Kings International Business School's management.

Our External partners include:

  • Universities and/or other educational institutions;
  • Course developers
  • Industrial attachment companies
  • Education Agents

The purpose of a contractual relationship with our external partner is to ensure that the partner's value-adds to the holistic experience of the students and at the same time supports the vision and mission of Kings International Business School's. To protect the interest and reputation of Kings International Business School's the partner’s contract should only be renewed if the partner does not engage in any false, misleading and deceptive conduct or contravene any expectation in the contract.

The partnership must not go against any national interest and violate laws and regulations of any relevant government agency.

Approved agent

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR AGENTS

  1. At all times the agent must conduct himself/herself with integrity and in a manner that will reflect positively on the image and reputation of the PEI as reliable providers of quality education and training.

  2. At all times the agent shall carry out the Services in a professional, responsible and ethical manner and should not do anything that might disparage or prejudice the PEI's interest, reputation and/or goodwill.

  3. Agent shall not contravene or in any way act in contravention to any provisions or expectation stated in its Contract with the PEI.

  4. Agent shall not be engaged in any unethical practice and make any misrepresentations, false or misleading statements nor make any claims, warranties, representations or statements which may be false, untrue, ambiguous, misleading, inaccurate or fraudulent.

  5. At all times the agent shall ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, orders and any other legal requirements in the Territory with regards to the performance of the Services and the marketing and/or promotion of the PEI and/or the sale of the Programmes.

  6. At all times the agent shall ensure that he/she is aware of all relevant Singapore laws, regulations and rules or guidelines of any Singapore government agency to ensure that he/she does not breach in any way or do anything that goes against these laws and regulations and/or rules.

  7. Agent shall promote himself/herself and the PEI fairly and provide honest, accurate and complete information about himself/herself, the student and the PEI.

  8. Agent must apply principles of fair trading when recruiting students and must not engage in high-pressure sales, "bait and switch" advertising or similar unfair practices.

  9. Agent shall ensure that he/she is not negligent, careless or incompetent such that he/she compromises the integrity of the PEI and/or Singapore's reputation.

  10. Agent must not collect any money from the students under any circumstances other than the fee or commission specified in the Student Contract.

Agent shall follow the PEI's prescribed procedure to clarify any doubt and any other information deemed necessary by the PEI.
