Why study with us Kings International Business School (KIBS) aims to promote an international environment based on equality for student’s intercultural learning and educational innovation through co-curricular activities. Our students can also get to participate in community-based advocacy events and be trained on teamwork, leadership, entrepreneurship, critical thinking and project management skills. Learning and teaching In our school the list of courses that we offer and the deployment of qualified teachers are registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE), Singapore. For verification, please refer to Council for Private Education (CPE) website - http://www.cpe.gov.sg To ensure consistently teaching quality, KIBS adopted strict criteria on the selection of teaching staff and they will be assessed on a regular basis as to achieve the desired learning outcome and to meet the expectation of our students. The feedback by the students will be taken into serious consideration in the overall review of our teaching staff. A professional focus Experts from various industries and professions contribute to teaching and help keep our courses relevant by working with us on their development. Our academic team will also constantly monitor the progression of our students’ academic performances and provide necessary guidance and coaching. Our curriculum will also be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure updated industry knowledge is imparted. Students will also be provided with free industry/knowledge sharing talks by industrial experts on a regular basis to enhance their knowledge and widen their network through the industry practitioners. KIBS will further provide the students with basic career services as part of student welfare to provide guidance in areas such as job search in Singapore, career counseling, and preparing our final year students for the industry that they are keen in and provide professional advice if they wish to further their education. Support and facilities Key facilities provided for staff/students are as follow: * Our campus is fully equipped with high speed wireless access and all the staff/students can enjoy privilege purchase of IT products at special discounted rate through our admin office. E-learning facilities will be introduced in the near future. * The learning environment provided is safe as there is 24-hour security surveillance in our front office with regular security patrolling by the security staff of the building throughout the calendar year. * Basic amenities situated near KIBS office includes, canteen, restaurant, convenience shop, banking facilities, clinics and so on. * There are ample parking lots available for staff/students who intend to drive to KIBS campus. * Our current classroom ratio is kept small, at approximately 1:20 (teacher: students), to ensure that the teacher can provide the attention to all individual student’s learning needs. * Pastoral care support is provided for students by professional counselor and can be arranged through our admin office * Selected KIBS staff is equipped with first aid knowledge for application of emergency procedure during class hours. KIBS is in the midst of exploring expansion of our current campus and further updates will be provided in due course.
